PICTURES FROM ENDVIEW PLANTATION

Here is a good picture of me and Brenda working on the Ol' Lady. She is in the forground and I am behind her. We were both at the back of the gun that day. This was the first time Brenda had played on it too and like most people once ya get bit you can never go back. This picture was taken at Endview Plantation 2001, Newport News Virginia.
This is a 10 lb. pattot rifle, which means the inside of the barrel has spiral grooves cut in it. Buddy name her after his mom. This gun is accrate up to a mile.

This is a good picture of Neil and the "Wee Lass". Don't let her small size fool ya tho, she fires a 12 lb. round 900 yards. This gun is called a mountain Howitzer and was designed to be disasembled and carried on the backs of a few horses. This was a good thing because in rough ground, without roads, it would be next to imposable to move a full sized field piece. One of the things the fellas like about her too is the ability to move her around without much trouble to face an ever changing line of incomming soldiers. Neil has a good time working her or the big gun. 2002.

Pictured left to right and front to back. Jethro, Bill, Goose, Neil and John. 2002

This was taken at Endview Plantation. In 2000 they had an antique Tractor show and Peninsula Artillery was there. What the Civil War had to do with a tractor pull I wil never know. DeLenn was a part of a pie eating contest and she wone 3rd place. She had the best time this weekend too. There was a hay "maze" and lots of kids. There was even a petting zoo where she got to hold a baby kangaroo.

Here is a group shot of the Confederate artilley at Endview Plantation 2002

This was taken in spring of 2002. The folks at Endview built this horse for the kids to play with and DeLenn is having a ball.

This is a nice picture of me taken in 2000. If ya look real close you will see little shamrocks all over my skirt. Neil has a matching shirt that he wears sometimes.

Neil and Andy have a blast together. That is why Andy calls Neil his little brother Ethan.

Christmas of 1999.

DeLenn looking at Al our blacksmith. This was taken at the Christmas event in 1999.

Spring 2003. This was taken right after we signed the papers to join the 18th corp. Tom's union uniform was not ready so he came to the signing in his Confederate uniform. After it was all over a few of our guys "captured" him. It was funny because Tom looked like the inside of an Oreo cookie. Pictured from left to right is Buddy, Neil, Bill and Kenzy.
